For your "princess on the brain" girl April 26, 2007 LAK (Newtown, PA United States) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
My 4yr old isn't crazy about doing puzzels, but I've tried to encourage her becasue of the good thinking process & eye/hand coordination it requires. Anyway, found this large, pretty sturdy cardboard puzzel & she does it often. So, I think it was the subject matter - everything is Princess nowadays with her, so she was more inclinded to do a puzzle of this castle.
Only bad thing I can say is that OY, it's a bear to get back in the box if all the pieces aren't just so! Otherwise a great purchase.

my 3yo dd got this from Santa for Christmas, and she LOVES it! I hear "let's do puzzles, Mama!" at least 3x/day -- the floor puzzles were definitely a hit w/our kids!
High Quality Puzzle November 21, 2007 Mango (Philadelphia, PA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Their puzzles are awesome...the pieces go together well and they have a good finish on them and are very durable. My 3 and 5-year olds haven't been able to destroy them under constant use!
I do wish Melissa & Doug had a better policy for lost pieces though. It seems wasteful that you have to toss a puzzle after losing just one piece. I was told that pieces don't always fit 100% which is why they don't supply them, but kids wouldn't care - - they are so bummed they lost a piece to one of their puzzles!
IT'S FUN!! May 12, 2007 Carmelita Burden (Oak Harbor, WA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I got this puzzle as a gift to a friend of mine's daughter and she loved it.. as well as the other children. And the parents asked where i got it becuase their children didn't want to stop putting it together.. it's a fun game to play as a family or with your child..
Perfect for the little Princess June 15, 2007 A. Hartung (Spearfish, SD, USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Once again, I bought this for a gift, but my Sister-in-law has only good to say about it. She says that it is very durable, and easy to clean if spots appear (kids will do that ya know!) The kids really like being able to get something out to play with on the floor.
